• Enjoy exciting tours and hikes throughout Israel.

The The New England Institute of Jewish Studies, in coordination with the National Graduate Student Network, is sponsoring a summer program in August 2009, combining the study of Jewish thought, Jewish ethics, Israel's ethical challenges and tours of Israel. The purpose of the program is to enable Jewish graduate students from throughout the US to explore Jewish thought, Jewish approaches to challenging issues confronting society and the State of Israel. Compelling seminars on Jewish thought address contemporary issues facing the Jewish people. The program features many tours and hikes in Israel.

The faculty features distinguished professors, judges, scientists, lawyers, executives, ethicists, and Jewish scholars from the U.S. and Israel. On-site seminars provide first-hand insight into the Israeli legal, business and scientific environment including the Knesset, Supreme Court, hi-tech, biotechnology, and multinational companies. NEIJS programs incorporate the case-study method and qualify for elective credit.
